This is my favourite of your recent crop of candids - the central character is extremely well isolated from the bustle of the city, but with plenty in the oof backround to give a sense of place. Personally I feel the composition is just right as it is. You have done a good b&w conversion, I am curious as to your method. Good work all round! |

I think this guy resetting his watch is great. The expression is priceless |

I like this one the best also. I am not sure that I would crop it, to me it gives it a framed look with the soft focus on top and bottom. I love the expression on the mans face. Nice work |

I am really into these kind of shots and I have to say that IMHO yours are excellent. I would not crop this one, the scarfs really frame the picture and "anchor" it into the street, if you know what I mean. Good work. |

Of the three street candid shots you uploaded, this one is my preferred viewing. The DOF, light, and mild drama of setting a watch has something charming about it. The other shots don't match it in any way. |

I really like this shot as it is.
To me the scarves in the foreground give depth and a feeling of him being self-absorbed/isolated in the middle of a busy city. He's looking up , the room at the top of the shot gives him room to look up into (if that makes sense)
Very nice work!! |

I agree with Brookied although I would also crop a little of the top, too, to put the man's head on the intersection of the right vertical and top horizontal "line's of thirds". I do like the composition and the great use of DoF. |

this shot would be better if the bottom part of the shot were cropped out, to remove the headscarfs.
nice and sharp though, good effort again |
