used Olympus C-750 "2-in-1" in-camera
then PSE 2.0 to Crop, do manual Levels, and Unsharp Mask
Nothing I could do to recover the blown-out white on the perfume spritzer - didn't notice until the sun was down, and it's the last day.
Zut alors, c'est la vie, avec l'eau de toilette.

Post Script note of bitterness: To the nine of you who gave this photo a "1" rating (meaning, I suppose, that nothing could be worse about it), if you ever revisit this photo, please do me the courtesy of sending me 4 or 5 of your photos, so I can learn how things are supposed to be done. |

I'm a little shocked how low this photo ended; especially if I consider the other pictures. Maybe people were a little jealous about your special effect ;), I don't know. Anyway don't let this discourage you. |

I really had to look at this for a long time to figure out how you did it - but I think I've got it - one side is a picture placed next to the other? Your lighting is different on each one. The perfume one seems like a little too much light and the onion/garlic seems like not quite enough when right next to the other. I'm not a big fan of either background. Interesting idea for the challenge though! |

I think there is too much going on here. One or the other might have worked better? |

I understand the contrast here, but it looks just like two photos set side by side - no relationship between them. If they were all in the same frame you could give some meaning through the composition or the lighting. Each photo is good - though small and hard too see if they are really sharp, and see the details of texture. |

nice idea....one would never wear garlic or onion as scent, but I still like those smells...lots of different scents here |

Interesting effect, but neither picture does much to hold my interest for long. Possibly a better background would help. |

To many things going on. divergence appears to diverse. I find neither subject to be shown in all its potential glory. Gutsy challenge though i'm sure it wasnt easy. |

Very curious how you did this within the rules of the challenge. Looks pretty good, but lacks focus. either of the pictures work separately, but together it is a bit pointless. (6) |
