I don't know if the colour is totally necessary.. there's enough contrast that I think it wouldn't lose anything by being in B&W.

That said, it's a cracking shot. This is the sort of pic I'd love to be able to take.

*as an aside* a little more of the beard at the bottom would have put this shot over the top for me ;)

Smily face no twinkle in his eyes though, might have cloned out the chain as well.
