 Actually it was a Mother's Day lunch, but since Mother's Day is on a different day in the UK to the US I thought I would take a liberty with the title. This is my in-laws; it was a surprise for her that the rest of the family would be at the venue, and I took this just as they arrived.

I used a speedlite 580EX mounted on camera, bounced off the ceiling with the reflector up.

Editing:

- Crop
- Clone out some distractions
- Clone out wrinkles, then set opacity to 60%, to reduce severity
- Gaussian Blur on skin, opacity 30%
- Curve to lighten teeth and whites of eyes
- Darken and blur distracting white door frame on right hand side
- Neat Image
- Sharpen eyes, scarf and necklace
- Lighten the husband slightly (he was further out of flash range)
