The Huichol are an indigenous ethnic group of Western Central Mexico that live in the Sierra Madre Occidental, in the states of Nayarit and Jalisco. Due to longtime deliberate isolation and resistance to evangelism they have retained much of their original culture. (Wikipedia)
He was a bit reluctant to let me take his picture, maybe that is why he doesn't look very relaxed. I am happy with this picture and my PP, he really looks as I remember him. Let's see what is the opinion of the viewers
Raw Conversion, change mode to 32bits and back again to get the HDR menu (my first try at this BTW), some curves, selective hue/sat, some burning, Luko USM, frame, resize, save for web. |

| Hi Ivan. This is a nice portrait and your PP suits the subject very well. Just a couple of things that may have helped this along a bit. Perhaps placing your subject off centre could have helped the composition a little. Also, he seems out of place against the brick wall. Maybe moving him away from the wall and getting the background blurred a little, I think would have helped to make him stand out. Hope that helps. : ) |
