Yum. I like the colors and the disembodied mittens and scarf, and the drink looks great. It took me a second to figure out the cookie. :) |

Great job here! I love the perspective/crop of this. I like all of the details; the cocoa, mittens, cookie and scarf. I would have liked to see a bit of her neck/chin still in the shot with her eyes cropped out. Maybe it wouldn't look good? I dunno...still trying to envision it. lol Great job, I gave this an 8. |

I like the idea of this, it's a great cozy, wintry feel. |

The cocoa looks yummy and the exposure is perfect.
A more elegant solution would have been to have the gloves and coat hanging over a chair or at least having the gloves on the table beside the mug. It looks awkward with her holding the cookie, like it might cause her to spill the hot chocolate at any moment. Do you think there is too much black space between the scarf and the mug? |

The scarve and handgloves, plus that cup of chocolate(?) with cookie stand out perfectly against the other darker textile. Good idea and well captured.
Perhaps I would like it even more without the scarve. The purple does not seem to belong here and the handgloves tell enough about the conditions.... Yes, I do believe that a landscape scene of just the lower part of the photo would be even better. 8 |

This is so creatively put together! Great photo, and greate idea for the challenge. I like this because it's something different. Interesting concept in keeping the person out of the image and choosing just the props that tell the story of your title. 10 |

I think it would be better either cropped below the scarf: or back up, raise the cup and show part of the face. |

I love your use of negative space here. Very creative composition. Just wish the colors were more saturated and it would have been nice to see a vapor trail rising from the hot coco. As it is now, the image leaves me a bit cold. |

Some parts I like, some is disturbing. |

Love the picture. I'm not sure if the cookies were added for "color" but I think the effect would have been cleaner w/o them (my opinion). I like the white/black contrast in the gloves, cup/marshmallows, and the highlight of the purple scarf...Very nice!

Good idea except for what I suppose are cookies on the right. |

Some smoke would enhance this photo. Color should be vivid. |

Took me a moment to work out that was a scarf and gloves, and then saw how much they add to the photo. Great shot! |
