no, don't look at the camera! Then you would have a boring photo instead of this small piece of his personality captured forever. Your flexibility and rolling with the situation landed you a treasure for sure. 7 (extra points for showing personality!)

What a cute expression you caught! I'm drawn to this photo because it captures personality. The downside is it seems a little off balance. I would either crop it closer on the left so he is more out of the center, or crop closer on the right and put him right in the center. It's also a little soft on focus (a problem I notice because I struggle with it). I hope you had as much fun taking this as it looks like you did.
