This is a snapshot... Needs more contrast, composition and a proper background. Try diffusing some light into her eyes (a golden diffusor would work well here) and avoid the blow out on the top of her hair. She has beautiful eyes and skin, keep trying with her.

The light on the top of her head is really strong and distracting. Has a snapshot quality to it. It is sometimes helpful when shooting outdoors to go in the shade but not too much so there is still plenty of ambient light. That helps to relieve squinting too.

Oh darn, she's squinting. I guess it was too bright for her. Would be better to get her to open her eyes.

I think this could be improved with a dab of fill-in flash to lighten the face and add catchlights to the eyes. A related issue is that the background is very light which emphasizes the relative shading of the face and draws the eyes away from it.

Softer lighting, sun too contrasty to show face without burnout on hair, no eyes or catchlight to give her life.

good job at capturing the light on her face even though the sun was behind her, try working with photoshop more because the airbrushing on her forhead is really obvious
