Exactly the question I was going to ask. Certainly not a traditional portrait, but I find this photo appealing. I love the cat's attitude, and I like very much, the soft light of the woman's face. At first I thought the background distracting, but it somehow works for me, and it all fits together nicely.

Well its both of theirs, and the dynamic between them is excellent...I really would have preferred a less "this is for a portrait challenge" title though because I really like this image
