 heida - 'bite me' and pedro in general were part of my inspiration - thanks ! the other part came from the heart...

it's me in the kitchen with chicken wire tied tight around my head.

desk lamp for for ambient light, flash on table behind me aiming at a green wall.

hmmm, art or portrait - how does one draw the line? I hardly see this as what he would send a 5x7 and three wallets to his mom - but you were darn creative and made me feel something.

I'm going with artistic expression of an otherwise boring challenge - 7 Nice work - and thanks for making me stop to think! :-)

Terrific shot. One striking similar to the 3rd or 4th place photo in the first color portrait challenge. It may of been 5th, I don't remember as its been a while, but if you look back you will see it too. Nothing to deviate from thinking this will do the same. GJ, and GL.

intense, i wish the table wasn't so shiny because it looks like his trapped behind a nice table and a cool living room, maybe a roughed up table would work better?
