 Adjusted shadows and brightness in raw.Tweaked levels and hue/sat , cropped, resized and submitted.Both lights were camera right with one on my right shoulder and the other pointing back towards my left shoulder.

First impression: Could be a good study of texture

Composition: The dark area is off centre adding tension to the image. The different levels of the leaves (?) adds interest.

Exposure: Even though there are several very bright spots they don't seem to be too distracting. The eye is drawn right to the one leaf with a lot of texture. The position of the light to go across the leaves I think has helped here.

Impact: I think this is the area that is letting your image down the most. I think it is most likely due to the large dark area on the left third line. Bringing out more detail in that area may help here.

Remember, this is only one opinion.

In the slight upper right side - it's a nice reflection on the underside of the pine cone. I like the simplicity - very creative. 9

Great shot. I like the cropping. But the vertical lines in the background are a little out of place.
