Mission San Jose Grist Mill in San Antonio Texas. Established in 1720 by Spanish missionaries. Grist mill works by natural water pressure from a wooden water-wheel located below the grinding stones.

My favorite for this challenge. I love almost everything about it: the subject, the composition, and most of all the wonderful natural light.

The only thing I don't like is seeing a tiny little bit of wood on the very left edge, not enough to figure out what it is, and that is bothering me. I'd prefer to either see it properly, or not at all. 9

Looks lovely and old-fashioned :) I almost want it to be sepia or b&w just to go with the mood, but the colours you've got do work well.

I just love this location and subject for the challenge: so warm and full of character...the wood, the flagstones, the flour dust....I just think that with heightened contrast you could have drawn out the rich tones and made the image warmer and more engaging.
