Four Strong Winds
-Written by Ian Tyson (performed by Sarah McLachlan, Phish and Neil Young)
Think I'll go out to Alberta,
Weather's good there in the fall.
I got some friends that I can go to working for,
Still I wish you'd change your mind
If I asked you one more time,
But we've been through that a hundred times or more.
Four strong winds that blow lonely,
Seven seas that run high,
All those things that don't change, Come what may.
If the good times are all gone,
And I'm bound for moving on.
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way.
If I get there before the snow flies,
And if things are going good,
You could meet me if I send you down the fare.
But by then it would be winter
Not much for you to do
And the wind sure can blows cold way out there
Four strong winds that blow lonely,
Seven seas that run high,
All those things that don't change, Come what may.
If the good times are all gone,
And I'm bound for moving on.
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way.
I added grain to this, thought it looked good. |

I like the sepia tone to this and I think the grain is nice. I really like the definition in the clouds. |

I think the grain added to the shot - has a lonely feel to it that goes nicely with the song lyrics. |

That is such a cool title for this photo. I love that song alot. I love Neil Young's version -- and my son is a total Phish Phreak!!! I was afraid at one point he was going to drop out of college and follow them around the country like the Dead Heads used to do :)
Anyway, that is exactly the mood this photo conveys. I love it -- ALOT!!!! |

A lot of unnecessary sepia on this site (in my opinion), but this works. Even the slight blur works for me. Really looks like a depression-era postcard. |

I like the coloring to this image, however, it needs to have a little more contrast to it, I think. |

I like the Sepia tones. This could have been taken 100 years ago. |

could be much sharper, the nostalgic border doesn't add IMO |

Great shot. I'm not reallly a big fan of borders but in this case I think it works well. |

Like the duotone, gives it the period feel. |
