 10-year-old pitcher (my son) of the Eastside Red Sox. He'd like to be able to throw a knuckleball but his hands are still too small. Taken at focal length 210mm. Levels, curves, color balance, USM.

This is a good sports photo. I'm not so sure it fits the theme of still though. Even if you are trying to show the lack of spin on the baseball, movement is still implied.

Great shot, but it's an action shot. Really doesn't conjour an idea of stillness for me.

Excellent captures - love the facial expression. I can feel the action in this image and that's a good thing - except in a "still' challenge (I understand your connection).
