 Picture is pretty much straight from the camera other than some sharpening in Picasa. Taken in the early morning sunshine with a spot filter.

Beautiful shot! I agree that DPC can often be brutal when it comes to flower shots. If anything, the image would probably do a bit better if the flowers themselves had a bit more light on them.

This has perfect clarity and dof but DPC'ers are really tough raters on these if there are any technical faults (ie, exposure) whatsoever. Beautiful shot of a delicate subject nonetheless.

How pretty! I love those ethereal blues in the bokeh background. I think DPC is unusually brutal with flower photos.. . sorry. . .this is very nice!

Nice composition, but it seems underexposed, and there is no definite focus on a single bloom, which i would of preferred.
