 Every living being has the same basic wish - to be happy and to avoid suffering. Even newborn babies, animals, and insects have this wish. It has been our main wish since beginningless time and it is with us all the time, even during our sleep. We spend our whole life working hard to fulfill this wish.

I am thankful for my happiness.

This Buddha statues is about 8" tall and it is actually a crimson color, but I recolored it to a gold tone for use in this particular photo.

I like this "laughing Buddha" shot. Sorry not so many people could get what you mean here. And thank you for share the Buddha teachings in your comments.

Now this IS a happy fella. He must mean much to you to thank him so much, so good on you.

Nicely lit but the composition may as well have filled the frame as the space at the top is inactive.
