Greetings from the Critique Club:
This image is perilously close to being a photograph of someone else's work but the fact that the flag is juxtaposed saves it. It is an interesting juxtaposition raising questions about war, patriotism, faith. I think that the title is a bit unwieldy but that is a matter of taste. I find myself wanting to turn the image - to push the right hand side back in order to change the angle of view. That is reflective of the difficulty in putting the elements of this together and wanting a clearer statement from the image. Perhaps see more of the flag and less of the massive flagpole. The color and clarity are good. It's a complex image and one that you may want to revisit. |

Van, Just wanted to let you know this was one of my top three favorites for this challenge. It has one of the most interesting voting distribution curves I have seen. |

The picture speaks for itself here and I find the title too verbose and overtly religious/patriotic - although I share the sentiment of gratitude for freedom.
It's a crisp, colourful shot. The flagpole is a bit intrusive at the top, but it's very strong nonetheless. |

Sorry, but this will get panned I think. All you have done is take a picture of someone elses work.
The title is also bad "do fought " doesn't make sense.
The composition leaves a lot to be desired too, why include the pole on the right? I see you tried to get the flag in which is very nice, but the top pole is very distracting and ruins the image.
On the plus side, the color is quite nice if a little over staurated. Nice as a photo, but not in a challenge. |

Nice color. I find the flag hard to see, it is to secondary to the image as a whole. Great idea for the Challenge. |

Interesting juxtapositon of flag and stained glass. I'm not sure the elements work together; they seem to be separate elements in a single frame, if that makes sense. Still, I love the idea, and your lighting and colors seem well composed. |

Two of the best things to be thankful for right now. I would have given you a 10 for the title, but you also have an excellent photo! I hope you do well in the challenge! JD |
