 Ever smelled or heard the stillness in the air after a forest fire. Nothing is moving..no animals or sounds at all. This is what I captured after a controlled burn. Very quiet.

I like the feeling this shot gives me, although the sign is very distracting and takes away from your photograph.

Good: feeling and mood. Lighting is also very good.
Things to do better: Composition.

this has an eerie beauty to it but I don't think the sign adds much and I wouldn't have taken the shot on an angle.

The tilt gives more "energy" to the image imo and doesn't make it feel "still"

Maybe could have straightned the image and included the whole sign.

I like this, but I think I would have preferred it without the sign. The different levels of color and the silhouettes of the plant life are enough for the image.
