 Well, not standing anymore, the owners did a controlled burn and this house is now gone...as of May 29th 2007 there is nothing but a burnt spot where it once stood...A moment of silence please...lol!! I really do hate to see this place go...oh well.

this is just great, the building slant, the 75% split on the sky, for me the sky is just a touch blown but really good effort. and a 6+ score again, nice one

i think it's funny that your top two rated pics are of this house :) . great colors and a great subject. it reeks of "calm after storm".

I really like the composition. The highlights seem blown in the sky, and the grass and sky seem over-saturated.

There is irony in this image. Obviously the house is still but it suggests motion by its slant which mimicks the tree. Together they seem to be like the blown back hair shots one gets from people in a convertable. The linear horizon and clouds add a sense of direction making this a strong image.

The bright and saturated greens and blues don't seem quite the mood for the old house.Nice composition and amazing that it is still standing!
