 My friend Bela had this beautiful baby (Tony) 6 months ago. He's my favorite subject matter. I didn't take this photo for this challenge. Rather I took the photo and hoped there was a challenge it would fit into. I hope you enjoy this image as much as I do. It's not original, but It's one of my favorite photos that I ever took.

I changed the photo choice last minute - I hope I didn't make a mistake.

Oh yeah!!! This is MY kind of photo!! I love the light on white with just a hint of the pink color showing thru. I love the composition. . .and that BABY! What a heart stopper! Way to go! Home run!

This is a nice high-key photo. I'm not too sure about the selective desaturation yet though. I think it is effective because I'm sure pink wouldn't turn out too well in grayscale, but I just don't know if I like the limited colors in this. Perhaps blending the grayscale layer in to the color layer a little so the skin had just a hint of color would make the pink feel more natural.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.

I think I'd prefer it without the hat, but what a baby! 7
