Challenge: Free Study 2007-03 (Advanced Editing V)
Camera: Canon EOS-400D Rebel XTi
Lens: Tamron AF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Aspherical for Canon
Location: Cairns, Queensland, Australia
Date: Mar 3, 2007
Aperture: f/3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 15 sec
Galleries: Sky, Nature

This photograph has minimal retouching. Cropped, curved, and contrasted. I also applied an unsharp mask. The sky was that actual color and the object in the sky was a plane that flew by.

I know, I know...too small. I was quite aware of the problem but I didn't realize that until competition was started and I wasn't allowed to remove it. Sorry about that!

Cool shot 8) would've like to see a bigger version of this shot. The photo reminds me of the film, Mars Attacks, with the color and setting.

Next time, please enlarge photo so viewers can really appreciate it! This is a very cool image, and I like it a lot, but can't see it very well.

Potentially a good image, but it's so tiny...

Oh Darn! This is such a beautiful photo, and I'm going to score it high, but I KNOW these brutal dpc voters, and they are not very kind to small photos. If you need help sizing for your next entry, PM me and I'll help you get your photo the normal size. Lots and lots of people do that in early challenges. But it really is a great photo! Good luck!

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three now and I'm running late, sorry.

The picture looks cool, but it's too small to tell. You have 640 pixels -- use them!! 8)

Wish this was bigger. I could see that this was a very interesting shot of an airplane at sunset. Unfortunately, the uploaded size is really too small to be able to see any of the details.
