I removed the front mesh-wire cover of the fan to have a less busy view of the blades, and the transparency of the blades helped light the image well from my side; no flash or extra light or reflectors were used. So the sun is an only light source.
It is usually very hard to get deep blue skies with contre-jour shots, but with the right angle it can be done; especially that the fast rotating blades helped dim the sun light somewhat.
I started without the colorful ribbons, but decided later that the motion was not very clear without them so I added them.
Not much was done to the image, general correction in contrast and saturation and cropping. AND THE USUAL REMOVAL OF THE DUST SPOTS.

interesting, maybe benefit from extra colored ribbons on edge too.

There's a subject that easily could fall into the dull/boring category, but those brightly colored ribbons give this photo an interesting twist of life and fun. Nicely done!
