This photo was very dark. I was actually shooting on a cloudy day with scattered rain. On top of that it was about 5pm at night so time was against me. It was my first shoot with a model with my new camera and the first attempts at higher fashion shots with this model.

Post Processing:
Raw Conversion to 8bit TIFF using DPP
Spot edited to remove moles on her face and neck
New Fill layer with solid color being white
Flattened image
Added some contrast and slightly darkened

(I think that's all I did)

I didn't mind the background but definitely think you would have scored higher with a less distracting one. I thought it gave a nice sense of realism.. which works with the model, since she looks very flirty but also "real", like she just happened to be like that when the photo was shot.

This is interesting and has an unusual vintage, yet campy, feel to it. The thing that is keeping me from scoring it a little higher is the lighting - looks flat and the tones a bit dull.

this is funny. I feel I am laughing with her, not at her. It has the kind of strange intimacy I see in Diane Arbus pictures. 9

Background is very distracting and takes away from your subject, I also would have liked to see this in a vertical format

Could the background have been blurred to highlight the subject...

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.

If she's supposed to be the subject of the photo she is a little blurred.

Nice capture - Interesting background. I think all the trash in the fence is very distracting.
