Another Langdon birthday challenge? :-)
I like the quill pen, ink bottle, and the caligraphy writing
in contrast with the modern devices of today.
Interesting shade of sepia for the whole photo.
What about have the modern tools in color and the older
tools in black and white? This is advanced editing, so it's allowed.
Could be slightly sharper in focus.
Overall, I like the concept. Creative.

Great idea but why do we need the computer and phone? I think this would work better with the picture and the letter. The viewer can fill in the rest. 8 anyway.

The image is too cluttered. You don't need all this technology to convey time and place. I would keep the cordless phone and loose the computer and cell phone.

This is a great setup, but the lighting is not working for me, it is too dark. Even if it made to feel like ancient days, I wish it was clearer

A very unique image for the challenge.

comp nice, nice light effect, color ok, dof good, movement great, nice texture, a bit cluttered however, too much to absorb, overall a good attempt
