| Initial reaction was great light, great poses. Nice shot imo and i like how each are holding their own pose, bg is interesting too. |

| The lighting certainly is gorgeous. Love the colors that the women have on their clothing. But without reading your description, I would have thought you were a passer-by taking a snapshot. Not all the women are focused in the direction of the photographer (you) and their poses are not coordinated well. These reasons, plus the busy background, are what prompted this reaction. |

| For all their bright clothing, they blend into the background a little bit. This might look much better at poster size. As it is, I feel I'm missing too much detail. I did give it a 6, though, because I thought it was an interesting subject and I liked the lighting. |

| A sense of fun and independence. Each of the ladies seems to be doing her own thing, yet they're part of the whole. The warm light adds a sense of, well, warmth! For strictly DPC purposes, you should of course have brought a freakin' huge backdrop with you, but I'm assuming since it's a local troupe that having recognizable city structures as the backdrop suits this well. I kinda like real backgrounds! |

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning.
Damn, you've been copying my dreams. It's not every day you get a chance to take a shot like this, so it's a well captured opportunity. I think the picture might have been improved by the girls working more together for it, and/or some girl(s) or textile in the near foreground. Still, great shot to catch. 6 |
