Cool. I like the texture on the trunk. I wonder if taking the shot a little more from the viewer's left would add some additional connection with the eye.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning.

Good thing too. Well cropped/composed to capture so much expression from the one eye. 7

I have a friend who has just done an exhibition set of elephant parts and has a very similar shot therein. However what really makes his picture is that their processed in black and white to bring out those texture.
