Fantastic perspective. Possibly a slightly lower camera position to move the light from behind her head, of course that would change the overall look of the model and I'm sure you didn't bring her out to shoot for the DPC weekly challenge! Nice work and effective use of the wide angle.

This is really cool use of the challenge, by using a long line of light under the pier as opposed to just the sun that gives the classic circular glow. this may have also been a reason why it didn't score so well, as it wouldn't be what the normal voter had in mind. I think it is cool, i would have like to have seen the light coming a little lower in the frame, so the light doesn't pop out of the top of her head. Other than that it is really creative entry, IMO.

There are great opportunities within this pile of pillars and wet sand, not very well used in this case though...
