| A patriotic image.. The foreground, especially the left, doesn't add anything. I might have been tempted to go with only the sky. But I'm afraid I don't see any soft focus. |

| The flagpole not being in the center is a good thing. The car on the left and those in the parking lot on the right gives it a bit of a snapshot feel. The horizon is also notably tilted, possibly due to a perspective problem. I also dont really see any deliberate soft focus to create a mood. Working on different perspectives and angles and being aware of what's in the background can be helpful to composition. |
