 I happened to be at one of the open air bird exhibits at the bronx zoo when this rolling, screeching fight broke out among two of the occupants. I snapped off a few shots with my canon 20d and edited (slightly) in PS2.

I quite like not being able to seee the contestants faces,adds to the drama. However I would have liked a bigger image to evaluate it properly.

Nice try. Your entry is too small and would be better with the whole bird. Better Luck next time.

One head cropped off completely, the other one half - a bit more of both would have been much better.

Are you a member of team suck? Sorry I don't mean to be rude, just a joke hope you laugh too. Anyway The composition is awful. I can't see the whole of either bird so I don't understand what is happening really. What birds are fighting. The one with color looks to be picking around for some food. And finally the blurry wing. I'm sorry, I have been voting for a few minutes now and when I look at this photo I just start to laugh, Is that weird? I don't know, Cheers! Nice depth of focus though into the background! The first bird(color) is sharp and contrasts nicely with the out of focus background, I like that part.

Way to small and badly composed as the birds are mostly out of the frame.

The crop made at the photo takes out a lot of information
