Marvelous image and spooky also; the shadow reveals a different and stronger identity of a person. Film noir |

ooh one I have never commented on! But I did vote on it and gave it a 7. I love that she's a silhouette but you still captured the details in her shoes! Great moment too, with her one toe pointed down. It's almost like she's dancing. A simple photo that says a lot - I like! |

Greetings from Wiesbaden! :-) I do like the mystery and composition in this shot. But most of all, I appreciate that the highlight is not blown out... A nice detail in the shadow, as well.
Maybe we can watch people together one day... :-)

Deb, had to come back after I added it to my favs. I love that the photo isn't ask dark as it may appear at first, there is details in the hand bag and even some subtle details in the back left. These really add to the already graphic nature of this shot. Well done! |

Why this works, because of the shadow on the floor. Having shots of just the legs is usually grounds for bad composition in my opinion. However, the fact that the shadow is so well formed and placed really makes the shot work, it in a sense is the subject. Wonderful lighting and lines. A very nicely composed and seen shot. |

Love it! Can't really explain all the feelings that it generates in me. But it's a fabulous shot. I like that you have cut off her upper body. It makes it more mysterious. Love the B&W. Damn nice work. I think you got robbed on the score. |

Another great slice-of-life Deb shot. And your composition is perfect.
While normally people put subjects moving into the frame, I think this is great having her move out. With the light, it makes it feel even more like a lonely station, and she's eager to depart. |

Very nice. A nice change of pace from many of the more typical entries(i include mine in the "typical" group). Just the right touch of light on her upper body to give it a subtle outline. |
