My son, Grant. He's 7, and he loves to JUMP! Not exactly the picture I had in mind, but I felt like I needed to enter a picture since I'm a P.E. teacher. I bought a soft box, and I was hoping to use it, but ended up borrowing this spotlight from the music teacher. Used a sheet for the backdrop, which unfortunately made the picture look grainy. Regardless it was fun watching my boys and their friends jump rope!

good idea, poor composition, put more of the subject, less of the background.

I like how his hair in the shadow resembles a heart...goes with the title. :-)

I like this idea, but it is a shame the whole person is not in shot.

I think this is a great idea and a cool shot.. though I would have liked the crop to be a little different... maybe not cut out the feet..

Great idea well executed...just a thought...it may have fared even better if you had positioned the lighting so you only saw the shadow (which I think is fantastic) rather than the shadow and the girl...equally that may have allowed for the full shadow of the skipping rope to be captured

Nice job though
