Nice shot - a little too dark on my screen though. My screen is not formally calibrated, but I've tried to adjust it, and I think it's close. This shot might be nicer with a closer crop. And, yeah, what they said about the border. :) Still overall a nice shot. What were the settings? I assume bulb timer, but what aperture/ISO? |

This is nice also, but you can't really get a feel for the image because of the distraction caused by that border. Not that you haven't heard that already. :D |

To me, the border is very overpowering. I'd either remove it altogether, or make it only one pixel. Other than that, it's a great shot! Congrats. I've always wanted to get lightning shots, but NEVER have, so I'm quite envious of you. |

Great Shot! This would make a great print. However I would do a way with the purple border and just let the picture fade into the black border. The image is strong enough to hold its own and I feel does not need the bright border.
I think without the border, even though the lightening is small, it will draw the eye straight to the subject. I hope this comment helps because I believe this is one of the best lightening pictures I have seen. The picture is Simple, gives a false sense of security because the lightening is far away, but yet powerful.
Just to add to the first comment. Its not to dark on my monitor. I can see the reflection in the water and can clearly see the distinction between sky and land.
Great Capture and love the color.
