Oh yes! my wife was very patient with me taking her picture. I need some practice with PP, I never like the skin tones I'm getting what do you think?

I like that you haven't cropped any of her out and that she fits perfectly within the frame. You did some excellent hand work here too :)

There's such light and sweetness radiating from her! One thing that I do notice when I look at this portrait is how much the bright red of her lips and her blouse stand out. By desaturating those areas, the viewers' focus would tend to go more directly to her pretty face. There's also a noticeable haloing around her head, perhaps from oversharpening or some other PP technique. Or maybe she's just an angel. ;)

I will agree with Sandy here. A slight tweak in either stauration or maybe play with selective colors to smooth out and soften the colors a bit. Nice work.

I think you did GREAT! Sometimes if skin tones look too harsh, I will try just a tiny bit of desaturation of the reds and/or yellows and it gives it a little softer look.

This is beautiful tho. I have a feeling your wife can't possibly take a bad portrait :) She is so pretty in front of the camera!
