this is the unedited version ..

something i've just realised after download etc etc is that my processing hasnt improved this photograph ... so the processing steps to avoid are :.. !!!
levels adjusment layer to lighten post ..
colour balance adjustment layer to change overall colour a bit ...
crop .. resize ..
selective noise ninja and sharpen ..
sloppy border with colour balance to make similar colour to photograph ..
rescaled image ..
convert to profile sRGB ..
saved for web ...

Well, I have to say I disagree that your pp hasn't improved this. There are many differences, but the main one is the added detail in the post. Before there was none = boring. Now there is a reason to look at the photo because it has an interesting subject with plenty of detail. Nice job.

Mmmm, I'm not sure which one I like more. Maybe the original? Sometimes I guess it's just not neccessary to process an image to get a great result, especially when you have a great shot straight from the camera! :)

"Post" Processing? LOL : )
It looks like it is soggy in the mornings where you live. I feel that the processing improved the original quite a bit. That is a very strudy looking corner post. The wood grain in the post takes some of the attention off of the dew drops that you wanted to show in this image, so both are good for different subject matter.
