I have to agree with the overall loving of the eyes. The only things I would change are things done in photoshop, like cloning out the faint orange light in the background. I love what you have done with the photo of this & the clouds, I think it looks amazing with that backdrop. "no fair with the cute-kid curveball"....I second that :)

The eyes are just beyond great here, so clear and sparkling and contemplative. I just love portraits of kids where you can see the gears moving, so deep in thought.

What a cutie! As Jon said, I am first drawn to his eyes. The eyes look great, especially considering no processing! He also has a great expression. Excellent lighting and colors. You don't even need photoshop! :)

i cant help but be transfixed by the calm, satiated stare,am immediately drawn to the eyes, then the nose, mouth and then i chuckled at the cookie/food stuffs around his lips,i get the feeling this child is getting sleepy after having a late snack...great DOF cant help wonder if in the background there be some more muted color(like that tiny blue speck) of some kind just to give a little zip,but i like the overall shot, GREAT JOB! no fair with the cute-kid curveball lol!!! touche'
