Technical: Fits the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all good. The DOF makes it slightly more interesting.

Personal: Doesn't compel me or make me want to take a second look

Suggestion: I'm Australian. To increase it's impact, to make it look less like a general miscelanious form, the wording " Income Tax Return" needs to be more noticeable.
I like your interpretation.
