That's a matter of opinion. Very subjective. I'm sure

If I looked at your portfolio, it's very likely

maybe you should have thought before making that comment. You can use so many things as light sources, get creative

Nathaniel, you had some very useful feedback in those comments.

It is very much your own loss that you only choose to get upset, instead of stopping to think about how those comments might help you improve.

fairfield, you should take a look at many of the other entries in the night shot challenges, and you'll notice that most of them are shot without flashes. other light sources can range anywhere from street lights to flashlights to moonlight and starlight.

NightRider drove a Cavalier? Or is it a Pontiac?... Does it really matter?

Though this shot is technically taken at night, it really lacks interest. It looks to me like a snapshot taken with a flash. One thing I can tell you is that voters are BRUTAL if they encounter photos that look like snapshots. Try and use a creative composition and subject matter in the future. Just my $.02. :)

Not really all that interesting is it?

try using an alternate source of lighting to offer a better perspective.

Snapshotish. Try shooting without the flash... Also thing about composition - rear bumper is cut off; angle of shot is too straight on.
