| well composed, The ring doesnt\' have the kind of sharp focus used in jewelry photography. I would have preferred to see the whole ring in sharp focus. and use the shallow dof on the earrings.. I also think the earrings (I think they are) are too close to the rings. I like the subject though, fits the challenge well. 6 -- bumped up to 8 |

| first thing I notice was the purple fringing on the diamond- you must have a canon! I love the pine needles- but never give an engagement ring as a christmas gift- or it is a gift= can't get it back if you break up. |

| The idea is fine. The color of light is nice and warm. But the image is so unsharp everywhere. And the needles of the tree don't fit in. |

| I like the abstract background, frames in a fun way, pleasing and eventually I see it is pine needles? I'm not sure you needed to include the jewelry in the foreground. Even our of focus, it is distracting. Light seems a bit warm (pink-yellow) Nice to have a bit to make the picture warm, but maybe a little less. |

| I don't think I like the inclustion of the pine needles, they realy distract from the feeling of "value" in the photo. I think I would have also prefered to see the other jewls in the DOF. Good Idea. |
