Poignant. Very classic black and white making a powerful statement, I like this alot.

Nice pic. I like the focus on the gun. Money is killing people ...

It took me some time to see what this is. I initially remarked that I couldn't tell what it was. To me it is too tight of a shot and what is in focus doesn't help a lot. The only reason I figured it out is my 9 mm.

I really like this photo. I think a wider angle and capturing more of the weapon would have been better. It took me a few seconds of looking at it to figure out what it was. But I still like it and it fits the challenge. 9

This one took a second, but wow--has quite an impact. Nicely done, and certainly one of the more interesting responses to the challenge.

weak. weak. weak.

Well conceived.

that's awesome - you must've shot yourself in the chest and thrown the gun - a head shot would not have allowed your muscles to throw the gun that far or better yet at all. but who cares - I'm just happy I'm not looking at a piggy banks ;) nice work. 8.

Technical: Fits the challenge, exposure is good; composition- I like the low angle; focus- I'd like a little more depth of field- perhaps the guy could be just a tad sharper? Lighting is good, lends itself to the shot.

Personal: I think it's a good idea and it's interesting to look at. The line from the gun to the hand leads well.

My vote: 8.

very interesting approach to what I considered a most difficult subject....very creative! Good composition and I like the bleak black & white colors...

Blood money?

this is great, except the gun is too far away from the body to be a suicide. this might actually be a set up to look like a suicide and could actually be a murder! i have been watching csi too much.. 10

I can't figure out what the background is, thought it was a big part of the shot, is it?

Money and death. Interesting relationship.

for me is too close, like you shot him

visually well done, although it would have looked nice without the dust and fingerprints on the metal. conceptually, unless this is supposed to be a murder case (which is probably less likely, considering the newspaper on the chest), the gun shouldn't be several feet away from someone who just shot themself. creative interpretation of the challenge.
