i get it! they're chained to the earth. it took me a second, but once i read everyone's comments about the lack of visual, physical chains, i remembered the rules of the entry: it didn't have to be physical chains. could be mental, psychological, etc. I LIKE THIS PHOTO!!!
the shape the objects make is what does it for me. i'm sorry i didn't vote in this challenge. i would've voted very high on this one!
