Nice and sharp shot here. But the lighting is flat and makes a feel too much like just a snapshot. If the lighting wasn't in front of him as it looks to me it would work a lot better. But I know its hard to get a kid to sit down and let you set up a shot. I think the background works well.

Good skin tones. I think pulling away from your background or changing your aperture setting where the background isn't in focus would keep the viewer focused on Timothy and would enhance this already wonderful photo.

Johnna, he is beautiful! He has such a "that age" look: still boyish and innocent, yet already having that "Oh Mooooooom" look :) He's gotta love it. . .and if he doesn't. . .I bet the millions of little girls calling him on the phone day and night would LOVE to have this photo in their possession :)
