 This was taken during a wildflower photography class I attended at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. I took 260 photos that day and had the hardest time figuring out which one I wanted to submit. The editing may be tame by everyone's standards, but it is something new for me. I started playing with the hue adjustment and was really surprised with how it turned out. Once that was done, I boosted the saturation and sharpened.

Greetings from the critique club. Since this is a free study we will assume that you met the challenge! Well done. Ok now on to the critique.

As a macro/flower lover I am glad I was given this shot. First let me say I love the angle that you chose to shoot the flower, it gives it a great background color without distractions. I wish the flower on the right had been moved a bit so it wasnt in the way of the shot though. I also wished for a bit more off center maybe cropped a bit closer. I am glad you didnt do any over the top editing with colors, saturation, or contrast its a very classic shot and I like it. I would have given this a 6 had I voted. Overall pretty well done and good luck in future challenges.

Lovely focus, exposre, composition.
Very natural colours aswell, stayed away from the temptation to boost the saturation way up.
