 Okay! Tried out a LOT of long exposures last night and, wouldn't you know, they came out absolutely POO!!!! So, tonight, after work, I ran downtown and grabbed this picture. I love this building, so this shot makes me really happy. I especially like that you can see Orion in the background, the only constellation I know!

Processing: sharpen, curves, contrast, brightness (less!)

Eee! I'm scared for this one!

Teehee, great name. That̢۪s a really fancy courthouse. The colors are eye-popping and the stars are perfect. Good job with this piece.

I like the bold color contrast of warm against cool colors, and the patterns of the dome are really visually interesting. Unfortunately, the nasty JPEG artifacts, which are particularly evident in the sky around the dome, detract from the image a lot. (Try saving at a higher JPEG quality setting next time! You have 150 KB to use, but this image is only about 50 KB in size.)

To bad about the .jpg artifacting around the dome... otherwise a very fine image.

Centered subject does not work well in this image. I think there is too much cut off at the bottom also. Might have been nicer if the main area of the courthouse was almost full frame without those side pieces, they are distracting and un-interesting.

nicely captured! however, the post processing seems to hav introduced artifacts around the edges of the roof. And it seems a bit over saturated. But it's still nice. 7
