 Taken at the Franklin Conservatory. They have a huge butterfly room that is decked out with these large Chihuly glasswork pieces. It is quite impressive. The day that I went for this shot all the big butterflies were dead or hiding, the little ones were quick to move and Aidan and Rowan were running around like crazy people. Tough place to shoot with a couple of kids along side.

Editing - one sharpen, resize and then one more sharpen

Superb colors (love the green/red contrast, as well as the red in the background complimenting the red in the butterfly). Also love the composition with the diagonal leaf.

My first thought was that the background took away from the photo. After looking at several times, I think it enhances it. The butterfly is beautifully sharp and in the composition is superb. Very Nice!
