OMG I miss this city! I am glad you decided not to use a Grand Canal shot. These quiet side canals are so much more charming. Excellent B&W pic. I could see this in a calendar!

I like this but i think i would like to see this in colour. I am assuming the facades of the homes are of different from one tothe next? If not then i guess it would have been a little monochrome anyways.Nicely done.

Needs color to compete effectively in this challenge, in my opinion. But I like it as a B&W anyway.

Contrast is a bit lacking. I'm not sure whether the BW does it justice either. Would be nice to see the original colour version.
