The foreground kills this otherwise nice photo - cuts off the reflections of light and turns bottom of photo mostly black.

The quality my be my computer but this picture is like all the other city pictures theres nothing innovative about it.

Great location and color. I have a problem with the lack of crisp focus. I understand how hard that is to achieve though. Try a shorter shutter speed, like a second and open up the aperture as wide as you can.

BTW I really miss the towers too.

Manhattan is just so amazing to see at night from Hoboken(?) .. suggestions - i don't like the tilted horizon (skyline).. and a more stable tripod or using a timer rather than pressing the shutter by hand would have worked better to keep the shot steady!

out of focus shot ... and blurred ... could have componsated it better also ... but a descent subject anyways ...

I don't know if it's focus or camera shake, but better focus would add a lot to this image.
