Superb composition, color and DOF! I don't think the ISO hurts it at all. |

I love this - Its so clean and has such a great background. With people you can re-move them, with animals its luck of the draw with background, pose and such. Great work |

Yes, black capped chickadees are so fidgety. Sometimes they take off in the time it takes to raise the viewfinder to your eye! I really like the angle and pose - it's almost as though it would be drawn in a painting. |

Not bad at all, you even have a catchlight in his eye. The DOF is complementary (surprisingly shallow for f/13) and the particular branch he's perched on has lots of angles for added interest. Might have gotten a little more detail in the white feathers with a lower ISO but really, this is quite nice! |
