Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This one does well. Staying warm is a basic, simple necessity. Exposure composition focus lighting all excellent. I like the fact that we see enough feathers to tell that this baby is snuggled up to Momma.
Personal:The tiny featherlets (I just made up a word!) on the top of the baby's head are precious. Excellent job catching all the fine details in this photo!

| Absolutely great picture. A simple young life against the feathers of its parent. Composition, color, sharpness on the eye, blurred background, perfect. |

| this is a really nice close up shot. It's simple, kinda, with not much else going on. The duckie is adorable which always, IMO, helps to adds something to a shot. Good fcous & lighting. |
