| I love the idea, sharp. However I would like to have seen the picture without the stand of hair sticking out from the bottom. Great picture though. |

| wow this is a cool idea. it turned out really neat. i'm picturing what it would look like if maybe the daughter or the mom had brown hair. it wouldnt fit the title as well but that would look interesting. really nice job! |

| Fits the theme well -- hair is clearly the focus. Cleverly realized and beautifully photographed. My only complaint is that the hair that spills into the white frame seems choppy -- I'd rather see the idea abandoned that see it poorly done. |

| cool idea. Nice composition and lighting. There are some processing flaws, especially the way hair goes over the border, it is obvious that hair in fact did not end there but was "cut off" in photoshop. And the hair at the foreground apparently was slightly out of focus and oversharpened later, which also shows. Should've used smaller aperture to increase depth of focus. |

the hair looks a bit oversharpened, and the skin a bit too softened.. even though it was expert editing, i think you should have stayed with a bit less of it. on the other hand, it's a great idea for such a challenge, and a great capture. i do like how the tail end of the braid falls below the frame, but it is a bit jagged looking where you cut out the background.
in the end, it was a nice try, and you still get a 6 from me :) |

| Hair is very difficult to mask and it shows down at the bottom. Otherwise I really like this. |

| great! a shot thats actually focused on the hair, im liking it, but i wish you would of taken more time on the editing of the hair coming out of the frame, its super choppy and is taking away from the image. |

| I don't particularly care for the border (although it is need how you have the hair haning out!) and the lighting could probably be a little better.... but this is a cool, unique shot! I love the braid! |
