Greetings from the Critique Club:
Something about this image grabs my attention. It has a spooky feel to it and I think the contrast works for this image. You probably would have done better with a wider angle of view. I see you used a 17-85 zoom. It doesn't appear that you used the wide end of the zoom. People usually look for more coverage in a landscape. That said, it is quite impressive especially as it was done from the window of a moving train. |

Interesting and very worthy compositional subject but your treatment of it in post processing does not do the scene justice. |

The darkness of this image is effective for this image, in my opinion, as is the lack of colour. Good capture for what you had to work with (gloomy day, moving train, etc.). |

Interesting capture of a flooded forest, but the shot lacks composition (no wonder if you were shooting from a train window). 4 |
